CYBER DEFENCE COMPETITION

     In order to participate, answer the following question in 1.000 characters or less: in your opinion, how does NATO’s role in cyber defence contribute to your security? Judges will select the best entries and winners will be announced on November 14th One winner from each NATO country will then be contacted and given further information about the trip to Brussels as well as the programme. The best entries from each NATO country will win the chance to travel to NATO Headquarters in Brussels on November 28, all expenses paid, and attend a day of briefings by high-levelNATO officials on the Alliance’s role in cyber defence as well as its new security challenges in the 21st century. ESSAY CONTEST 2011

     Ahead of the 60th Anniversary of Turkey’s membership in NATO on 18 February 2012, YATA Turk, would like to launch a university student essay competition to commemorate Turkey’s membership in the Alliance. Universities all across Turkey will be participating in the initiative. The essay contest encourages Turkish university students to express their ideas about Today’s NATO and Turkey’s role within the Alliance. Students are invited to provide a Turkish perspective on NATO’s transformation. READ MORE

BRIDGE FOR PEACE 2010

     Organized by YATA-TÜRK, Istanbul Youth Forum: Bridge for Peace has been held on 2-5 February 2010 at Istanbul Technical University. The forum that consists variable students from different universities has been realized with the participation of  Jean-François Bureau ,Secretary General of  NATO's Public Diplomacy Division, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, Vice president  of Istanbul Technical University, Hikmet Çetin ,Former Foreign Affairs Minister and Representative of NATO Afghanistan, and Yeter Yaman, NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division’s Coordinator on Middle Asia, Caucasus and Turkey.

26.11.2011   -   Contest which name is "Condition of the Unity and Turkey's Role In the Unity" deadline is postponed to 13 January 2012. Contestant who can write in academically, study in political science and internatioal relations or other related sections can participate.
