CYBER DEFENCE COMPETITION

In order to participate, answer the following
question in 1.000 characters or less: in
your opinion, how does NATO’s role in cyber
defence contribute to your security?
Judges will select the best entries and winners
will be announced on November 14th One winner
from each NATO country
will then be contacted and given further
information about the trip to Brussels as well
as the programme. The best entries from each NATO country
will win the chance to travel to NATO Headquarters
in Brussels on November 28, all expenses paid,
and attend a day of briefings by high-levelNATO officials
on the Alliance’s role in cyber defence as well
as its new security challenges in the 21st

Ahead of the 60th Anniversary of Turkey’s
membership in NATO on 18 February 2012, YATA
Turk, would like to launch a university student
essay competition to commemorate Turkey’s
membership in the Alliance. Universities all
across Turkey will be participating in the
initiative. The essay contest encourages Turkish
university students to express their ideas about

Alliance. Students are invited to provide a
Turkish perspective on NATO’s transformation.

Peace has been held on 2-5 February 2010 at Istanbul
